Rosie's

We are located in San Marcos, CA, in a private studio by appointment only. We offer in-student home classes, instruction and parties, as our studio is too small to have the public. From time to time, we will rent a venue to hold classes.

11 years ago, due to economic recession and looming inflation, we chose to sell off the retail store inventory, and offer classes in other venues. At the time, it was affordable to rent teaching spaces short-term. However, after the pandemic, it was nearly impossible to rent a space at an affordable rate while keeping fees low, also due to the jump in ingredient and fuel costs. In an effort to still offer instruction, Ro Z's business model is now based on teaching in student hosted spaces.

Yes. The manufacturing company we work with produces and co-packs our products for us. Products are manufactured right here in the United States with FDA approved ingredients. The ingredients are plant cellulose (used to make capsule vitamins) and mica-based pigment which creates the shimmer. All safe for human consumption.

Many years! We have been teaching baking and cake decorating since the late 1990's, and has taught healthy cooking basics since the early 2000's. Ro has certifications and education in baking, decorating, cooking, and has many years of hands-on experience to back her training. She has been training baking professionals and sales / food service distribution teams since 2010; and, has worked for a manufacturing company and distribution company since then. Her knowledge is extensive, especially with a focus in bakery.

Much effort and planning goes into creating a curriculum, lesson plan, or party plan. In addition, supplies/materials need to be purchased in advance, which also requires time to order / pick-up. With last minute cancellations, then there is an opportunity lost as well. We appreciate you, and do everything in our power to ensure your event/class goes well, and we appreciate your consideration of our policies.
